- TONAWANDA - Mrs. Louise Forpahl Sandusky, 80, of 51 Carney St., died Sunday (March 14, 1965) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Germany, she had lived the greater part of her life in this city and was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ, the home department of the church and of Empress Rebekah Lodge, No. 116. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Margaret Weyers) and Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Oswald, both of this city; two son, Clarence E. Sandusky (sic), North Tonawanda, and Elmer G. Forpahl, Town of Tonawanda; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Mayley, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Minnie Honer, this city; a brother, Albert Chester, Detroit; 11 grandchildren and and 1* great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Roth Funeral Home, Rev. Veldon Grasmick officiating. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
