Erna O. Mielke, 86, of 92nd Street, died Tuesday (Dec. 15, 1992) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Columbia. Mich.. to the Rev. Otto and Grace (Grabau) Bruss. She lived in Niagara Falls for most of her life. She was employed at the Belleview Dress Shop for 35 years prior to retiring in May 1991. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz. Mrs. Mielke was the wife of Raymond Mielke, who died in 1965. She is survived by a son, Gary N. Mielke of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Dawn C. Glenn of Niagara Falls; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was the stepdaughter of the late Olga Bruss and sister of the late Ariel Greinert, Elfrieda Decker, Roland Bruss and Gerald Bruss. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. The Rev. David Menz will conduct services at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz. Memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church.

Erna O. Mielke, 86, of 92nd Street, a retired employee of the Bellevue Dress Shop, died Tuesday (Dec. 15, 1992) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. A native of Columbia, Mich., the former Erna O. Bruss was a longtime resident of Niagara Falls. She worked at the dress shop for 35 years until she retired in 1991. Mrs. Mielke was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz. Surviving are a son, Gary N.; a daughter, Dawn C. Glenn; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz.
