    Gazette caption - The Walmore Military Band shown above, was one of the finest units in this part of the country when this picture was taken 32 years ago, April 30, 1903. The members of the band as pictured above, left to right front row - Emil Hasley, Hubert Hasley, Jonus Hasley, Edward L. Hasley, Fred Schultz( now deceased), Rudolph Blank, Philip Hasley, Henry Schultz, and Alfred Walck (now in Minnesota). Second row - Edward W. Hasley, Hugo Walck, Albert Walck (now deceased), Sigmund MacKenna (leader of the band), Philip Wittkopf, Ben Walck, Gustave Mante (deceased), amd Max Hasley (deceased).     • Born Oct 10, 1879, in (Walmore) Town of Wheatfield, NY; son of Frederick Haseley and Maria nee Fahrnwald; baptized here; confirmed Apr 23, 1893 by Rev. J. N. Grabau; married to Anna DeVantier Nov 12, 1908; healthy until last two years, hardening of the arteries; death rather sudden; Survivors: the widow, two sons (one son died in 1916) Mervin and Philip; one grandson.

      Haseley-In Walmore, N. Y., March 5, 1956, Philip F. Haseley. Husband of Anna DeVantier Haseley; father of Mervin and Philip Jr.; grandfather of Paul Haseley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the home on the Walmore Rd.. Thursday, March 3, at 2 p.m. and at 2:30 from St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Walmore, the Rev. Martin Pempeit officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.

      Philip Haseley, Farmer, Dies
      SANBORN - Philip S. Haseley, 76, well known farmer, of the Town of Lewiston, died at his home in Walmore Rd., Monday (March 5, 1956). He had been in ill health for some time. He was born in Walmore Oct. 10, 1879, son of the late Frederick and Maria Fahrnwald Haseley. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Walmore. He is survived by his wife, Anna DeVantier Haseley; two sons, Mervin and Philip Haseley Jr.; a grandson, Paul Haseley, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at his home Thursday at 2 p.m. and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. with the Rev. Martin Pempeit officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
