    • The Evening News, Saturday, April 13, 1918
      Albert Wendt, 42 years old, of the Saunders Settlement road at Sanborn died early yesterday morning at the DeGraff Memorial hospital in this city following a short illness with typhoid fever. Mr. Wendt was brought to the hospital on Monday of this week. The body was taken to the late home where the funeral will be held. Mr. Wendt was a well-known farmer at Sanborn.
