    • Goeseke - Gilbert R. of Akron, New York. Suddenly, Dec. 15, 1961. Beloved husband of Eleonore (Nee Pfohl). Father of Russell J. Brother of Mrs. Emma Strang, Richard, Everett, and Lester. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Bernhardt Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Akron, New York. Funeral services will be held from the South Newstead Trinity Lutheran Church, Monday afternoon at 2:30 P.M. Friends invited.

      Gilbert Goeseke, Newstead Farmer is Dead at 42
      Gilbert R. Goeseke, 42, Crittenden Road, died unexpectedly at his home Friday (Dec 15, 1961). Born in the town of Newstead, Aug 5, 1919, he was the son of Edward and Angeline Larkin Goeseke. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, South Newstead. Survivors include his wife, the former Eleonore Pfohl, a son Russell Jr., at home; a sister Mrs. Emma Strang, Marathon, N.Y. three brothers, Richard and Lester of Akron and Everett of Clarence. Friends may call at the Bernhardt Funeral Home, 131 Main Street. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church Monday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, South Newstead.

      29 milking cows, including 3 Registered Ayshires; 6 bred heifers; 3 open heifers; This also includes 6 registered Holstein's; This is a fall and winter freshening herd with individuals milking to 904 per day; Herd average 12888M - 470F. Several bred back for fall freshening; T. B. Accredited; Calfhood Vaccinated; Ring Certified Inspected by Vet. prior to sale.
