(Nee Fordyce) Miller; father of Cathy Lynn (Larry) Swartzlander; grandfather of of Craig (Kara) Swartzlander; son of the late Howard and Marion (nee Kropp) Miller; brother of Shirley, Marilyn, Robert and the late Raymond and Barbara; also survived by nieces and nephews.There will be no prior visitation or funeral service. A private interment will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Richard was employed by Spaulding Fibre Co. in tonawanda and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and a 50 year member of Tonawanda Hook and Ladder Co. He loved auto racing, hunting and fishing. He was a US Army veteran serving durning World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Church of Christ or to the SPCA of Erie County.
