    Gazette caption - The Walmore Military Band shown above, was one of the finest units in this part of the country when this picture was taken 32 years ago, April 30, 1903. The members of the band as pictured above, left to right front row - Emil Hasley, Hubert Hasley, Jonus Hasley, Edward L. Hasley, Fred Schultz( now deceased), Rudolph Blank, Philip Hasley, Henry Schultz, and Alfred Walck (now in Minnesota). Second row - Edward W. Hasley, Hugo Walck, Albert Walck (now deceased), Sigmund MacKenna (leader of the band), Philip Wittkopf, Ben Walck, Gustave Mante (deceased), amd Max Hasley (deceased). Third row - Adolph Hasley, (deceased), William Schultz, and Rudolph Hasley. Fourth row - Edward Hasley (deceased) and William Blank.

      WITTKOPP - In Lockport, N.Y., Sept 19, 1945. Phillip A., age 64. husband of Anna. Wittkopp (nee Profrock); father of Clarence of this city, Raymond and Edward of Tonawanda., Mrs. Donald Wendt at home; brother of Mrs. A. Lang of this city. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Funeral at the home, Lockport Road, Walmore, Saturday, Sept. 22, at 2:30 and 3 p.m. in St. Peter's Church. Walmore, Rev. Edward A. Grabau officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, Walmore.
