    • William J. Lindke, 54, Dies at Work
      Middleport - William J. Lindke, 54, of Mountain Rd. Town of Royalton, died unexpectedly Monday evening June 27, 1960 of a heart attack while baling hay on a neighbor’s farm. Born on April 17, 1906 in the Town of Royalton, he was the son of William and Minnie Schubel Lindke. He was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. Surviving are his wife, Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Munson of the Town of Royalton and Mrs. David Nachreiner of Tonawanda; a son William, at home, a stepson David F. Kams of the U.S. Navy, stationed in California; a brother Gustave of Wolcottsville, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 Thursday afternoon at St. Michaels’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

      LINDKE - William J. Lindke of Gasport, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly Monday evening (June 27, 1960). He is survived by his wife, Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Munson of Gasport and Mrs. David Nachreiner of Tonawanda; one son, William Jr., at home; one step-son, David S. Kams of the U.S. Navy, Moffet Field, Calif.; three grandchildren, and one brother, Gustave Lindke of Akron, O.; also several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, N.Y. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, N.Y. Burial in Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery
