Mr. Ziehm is a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Army Veteran of World War I, former Chief Criminal Deputy of the Niagara County Sheriff Dept retiring in 1968, and a member of the Republican City Committee for 35 years and the Niagara County Executive Committee for 25 years. He is survived bv his wife Anne (nee Swanson), 2 sons, Robert Z. Ziehm of Chicago, Illinois and Rudolph Ziehm Jr. of North Tonawanda: a daughter. Mrs Wallace (Betty Lou) Durkee of Texas, twelve grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur W. Ziehm of Niagara Falls, N.Y.: a sister, Mrs James (Olga) Henwood of St Petersburg, Florida. The familv will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., SAT. and SUN. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Services will be held Mon. at 10:30 a.m. The Rev George S. Snvder officiating. Interment in Friedens Cemetery.
