    "This photograph was taken In 1896 and shows the church band/male chorus of St. Jacobi church at Bergholtz, N.Y. The choir was organized about ninety years ago and is still active today. Vacancies, caused in course of time by death or retirement on account pf old age, are filled by younger musicians, often a son taking the place of a retiring father. Since its organization up to about fifteen years ago, when a pipe organ was installed, the band accompanied the congregational singing. On special occasions this band-choir can still be heard in the Bergholtz church. Some of the old fashioned instruments shown in the picture have been replaced by instruments of modern type. Theodore D. Grabau, teacher and organist of St. Jacobl's church, has been leader of this choir for the last twenty five years. This picture was taken at the Old John Mueller homestead on Mr. Mueller's 60th birthday. He was at that time a retired member. In the row standing, from left to right, are: August Mueller.       William F. Milleville, Sr., 79, died this morning at his home on the Old Niagara Falls boulevard, town of Wheatfield. He was a lifelong resident and the husband of the late Emma DeVantier Milleville. Surviving are seven sons, Rudolph, Arthur and Edward of Niagara Falls, Herbert of the town of Niagara, Theodore, William Jr., and Philip of the town of Wheatfield; two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Holland and Miss Edna Milleville of the town of Wheatfield; 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother, John Milleville, and two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Ferchen and Mrs. DeVantier of the town of Wheatfield. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence and at 2:30 o’clock from the St. James church in Bergholz. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate. Burial will be in St. James cemetery.
