Mrs.Mary Thielke
Mrs.Mary Thiele, 78, died last night at her home, 398 Payne avenue, after a prolonged illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she was a charter member of the St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran church on Wheatfield street and a member of the Ladies' Aid society of the church. Surviving are her husband, John C.; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur G. Fries and Mrs. Owen Blackmore of North Tonawanda; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Rose Fritz of North Tonawanda. Rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthews cemetery.
