      Oldest member of area church
      TOWN OF NIAGARA - Christine P. (Hoffmeister) DeVantier, 93, of Lockport Road died Thursday (June 27, 1985) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Mrs. DeVantier was the oldest member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Walmore Road. She was the wife of the late Albert W. DeVantier. She is survived by sons, Norman A. DeVantier of Bergholtz, and Elmer A. DeVantier of Pekin; daughters, Mrs. Norman (Lydia) Mueller and Mrs. Donald (Gladys) Milleville of the Town of Niagara; a sister, Mrs. Ella Schroeder of Johnsburg; and 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the DuBois Funeral Home, 8904. S. Military Road. Services will beheld at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Herbert R. Maxwell officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Contributions to charities will he acceptable as tribute.
