      TOWN OF WHEATFIELD - Allan H. DeVantier, age 84, of the Town of Wheatfield, August 7, 2013, in the Schoellkopf Health Center. Allan owned and operated Niagara View Farms in the Town of Wheatfield and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Bergholz Fire Company for over 63 years and was a member of the Wheatfield Businessman's Association. Allan was a life-long resident and proud supporter of the Town of Wheatfield. He was the husband of the late Joan (nee Stoelting) DeVantier. Beloved father of James DeVantier, Michael DeVantier, Kenneth (Sarah) DeVantier, Paul DeVantier, all of the Town of Wheatfield and Susan (Gerard) Wojcinski of Lockport. Grandfather of nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Mildred DeVantier and Ray DeVantier. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Saturday only from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM at St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Rd, in Bergholz. The Rev. Jeffrey Milsten will officiate. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
