      Agnes W. Turner, 85, died Friday (Jan. 26, 2001) in Mount View Health Facility, Lockport, after a long illness. She had been a patient in the nursing home since 1993. She was born Agnes Walck in Wheatfield and was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Lutheran Church Women's Circle. She was a teacher's aide at Spruce Elementary School for several years and volunteered at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Her first husband, Lawrence Donner, died in 1979. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Alfons; a daughter, Becky Parnell of Port Richey, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Comstock of Wichita, KS., and Christine Pasek of the City of Tonawanda; a brother, the Rev. Bernard Walck of Lady Lake, Fla.; two sisters, Minnie Zobrist of Baton Rouge, La., and Kelley Durkee of North Tonawanda; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.

      Spruce School teacher's aide Agnes W. (nee Walck-Donner) Turner, age 85, of Mount View Health Facility, formerly of North Tonawanda, died at the facility January 26, 2001, where she's been a resident since 1993, after a long illness. Agnes was born in the Town of Wheatfield on December 22, 1915 to Emil and Esther (Beutel) Walck. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church on Felton Street in North. Tonawanda, where she taught Sunday school, and was a member of the Lutheran Church Women's Circle. She was employed as a teacher's aide at the Spruce School in North Tonawanda for several years and was a volunteer at DeGraff Hospital. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Donner in 1979. Survivors include her second husband, Alfons Turner of North Tonawanda; daughter, Becky Parnell of Port Richey, Florida; two step-daughters, Christine Pasek of Tonawanda and Sharon Comstock of Wichita, Kansas; two sisters, Minnie Zobrist of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Kelley Durkee of North Tonawanda; one brother, Rev. Bernard Walck of Lady Lake, Florida; five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, where funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. David Ellis on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 64 Felton Street, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
