NORTH TONAWANDA. - Jan 26 William A. Werth, 57, of 395 Wheatfield street, died suddenly in the garage at the rear of his home this morning as he was preparing to depart for the plant of the Buffalo Bolt company, where he was employed for the last 34 years. Mr. Werth was subject to heart attacks. When he did not appear with his car after some time, Mrs. Werth went to the garage and found her husband on the floor. Dr. J. A. O'Connor was called and pronounced Mr. Werth dead. The hood of the car was up. It is believed that over-exertion in trying to start the car resulted in the attack. Mr. Werth was born in the town of Wheatfield. He had lived in this locality all his life. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church and the Men's club. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Amalia Werth; two daughters, Mrs. John Marzolf and Mrs. Allen Oswald; two grandchildren, Beverly and Sharon Marzolf, and three sisters, Mrs. William C. Goerss, Mrs. Louisa Sprange and Miss Mary Werth, all of this city. Rites will be held sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home with the Rev. Carl Frankenstein officiating. Interment will be in St. Matthew's cemetery.
