Friends may call at the Pike & Jones Funeral Home Inc., 5890 Hoover Rd„ Sanborn, Wednesday, March 17th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin. N.Y., Thursday, March 18th at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. LaVerne J. Fitch officiating. Burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Pekin, NY.

      Edgar Mielke
      PEKIN - A former resident of this area, Edgar Mielke, 55, died Monday (March 15, 1965) in Buffalo Veterans Hospital after along illness. Mr. Mielke, a native of Pekin, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was employed for many years with the Railway Express Agency in Niagara Falls. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie and Linda Mielke, Grand Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Amos Schultz, Sanborn, Mrs.Gertrude Kreppeneck, Medina; two brothers, Raymond Mielke, Niagara Falls, and Herbert Mielke, Largo, Fla. Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Andrew's Lutheran Church, Pekin, by Rev. LaVerne J. Fitch. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Pekin.
