BEUTEL - Kenneth E.
Longtime Sanborn resident Kenneth E. Beutel, a retired tool-and-die machinist, died unexpectedly Friday in his Buffalo home. He was 73. Born in Wheatfield, Mr. Beutel attended Trott Vocational School in Niagara Falls. A Sanborn resident most of his life, he moved to Buffalo in recent years. He was employed as a tool-and-die machinist at Bell Aerospace during the 1960's and worked for several other companies over the years, including a stint as a landscaper. He retired in 2001. Mr. Beutel was a member of the Sanborn Fire Company Band and St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Walmore. In Buffalo, he was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and was a volunteer at DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda and Buffalo General Hospital. He also did volunteer work for the St. Vincent de Paul Society and enjoyed gardening. Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Doucette of North Tonawanda; a son, Bradley of Baltimore; three sisters, Janette Kroening of Sanborn, Beatrice White of Albany and Audrey Mattarese of Scottsdale, AZ.; four brothers, Edwin and James, both of Sanborn, the Rev. LeRoy of Fredericksburg, VA., and the Rev. Donald of Baltimore; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Wheatfield. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.

Kenneth E. Beutel, age 73, of Linwood Avenue, Buffalo, formerly of Sanborn, entered into rest February 24, 2006 unexpectedly at his residence. Born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY on January 21, 1933 to the late Edwin and Alice (Williams) Beutel. He was employed as a tool and die machinist, at the former Bell Aerospace Company, later at several other companies, and did landscaping work. Kenneth is a former member of the Sanborn Fire Company Band, and St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, in Walmore. He is a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, in Buffalo; a volunteer with Kaleida Health Care, and St. Vincent de Paul. His hobbies included gardening. Survivors include two children, Vicki (Neil) Doucette of North Tonawanda, Bradley Beutel of Baltimore, MD; three sisters, Janette Kroening of Sanborn, Betrice (sic-sp) White of Albany, Audrey Mattarese of AZ; four brothers, Edwin Beutel of Sanborn, LeRoy Beutel of VA, James Beutel of Sanborn, and Donald Beutel of MD; four grandchildren, Sarah, Adam and Desiree Doucette, and Jane Gallagher. He was predeceased by a son,...Melvin Beutel; and two brothers, Eugene and Allen Beutel. Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield. Memorials may be made to Resurrection Lutheran Church, or St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church.
