MAN HIT BY TRUCK DIED IN HOSPITAL
Otto Haseley of Saunders Settlement Road, Victim of Accident Near Home
Otto Haseley. 46 years old, of the Saunders' Settlement road, died yesterday afternoon in Memorial hospital from injuries received on Thursday night when he was run over by a motor truck near his home. Mr. Haseley suffered internal injuries. Coroner W. L. Draper, who investigated the accident learned that Mr. Haseley was standing talking to another man who "was in an automobile on the road in front of his home". He walked out around the machine in the path of a motor truck. The driver. J. M. Taylor of Lockport, saw him and tried to avoid striking him but was unsuccessful and the heavy truck passed over Mr. Haseley's body. He was taken to his home and was removed to the hospital here at 9 o'clock yesterday morning.
