    • Pastor's Notes- son of August J. Haseley and Louise Hellert; was born Mar 6, 1872 in Walmore, was confirmed by Rev. J. A. Grabau in St. James Bergholz; was a member here almost all, if not all of his life; was married on Aug 7, 1904 to Pauline Haseley; had 2 sons and 5 daughters, 1 son and 2 daughters died in infancy; lived in LaSalle (Niagara Falls) past 30 years; always enjoyed good health, except for about the last year; sudden death from heart trouble; was a quiet, gentle, modest, kind friendly, peaceable man; survivors: the widow; one son, Henry; three daughters (Mrs. Bessie Ziehm, Lena, Gertrude); 2 brothers (Hubert R. and Emil); one sister, Mrs. Rose Broeker [sic- sp- Broecker].

      LEWISTON NATIVE DIES HERE AT 83
      Henry J. Haseley a native of Lewiston. and a retired Carborundum Co, employee, died yesterday (May 5, 1955) at his home, 623 Pasadena Ave., at the age of 83. He had been ill for' approximately one year. Mr. Haseley had lived in this city for 30 years. He was retired from Carborundum in 1942 after 25 years as a fireman. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Haseley; threes daughters Mrs. Bessie Ziehm, North Tonawanda; Miss Lena Haseley and Miss Gertrude Haseley both of this city, and a son, Henry Haseley Jr. also this city. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. William Broeker, North Tonawanda, and two brothers, Emil Haseley, this city, and Hubert Haseley, Sanborn. He was a member of St, Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore road, Funeral services will be held at the Lane Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m., and at St Peters Church at 1:30 pm. The Rev. Martin Pempeit, pastor of; the church, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, •
