Hardy of East Felton Street, North Tonawanda, a Sunday school teacher, were held today in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda. Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton. The former Helen Proefrock, 78, died Friday (July 14, 1995) in Schoellkopf Health Center. She was born in North Tonawanda and attended schools there. Mrs. Hardy attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday school and confirmation class teacher. Her husband, Robert G., died in 1973. Survivors include three sons, Mark and Robert, both of North Tonawanda, and David of Florida; a daughter, Joan M. Scheller of North Tonawanda; a brother, Ernest Proefrock of Lockport; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
