    • The Niagara Gazette
      Sanborn - Sigmund J. Pfohl 66, of 2115 Lockport Rd died Wednesday May 29, 1968 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Sanborn and had been employed as a stock clerk at the Carborundum Co. He was a member of St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Walmore Road. Surviving are his wife Christine Pfohl, a daughter Sylvia Dobbertean, Niagara Falls, a son Edgar John Pfohl, this city, a granddaughter, Nancy Dobbertean, two brothers, Louis and max Pfohl, Sanborn, and five sisters, Mrs Philip Kroening, Mrs. Jonas Haseley, Mrs. Mervin Haseley, Mrs. Marcus Haseley, and Mrs. Edwin Werth. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 PM at St Peter's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Gerald E. Scheck officiating. Burial will be at St Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pike & Jones Funeral Home, Sanborn. The family will be present from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM.

Granddaughter Nancy Dobbertean, all of Niagara Falls. Brother of Mrs. Philip (Minnie) Kroening, Mrs. Jonas (Martha) Haseley, Mrs. Mervin (Verone) Haseley, Mrs. Edwin Werth, Louis Pfohl and Max Pfohl. Several Nieces and nephews, all of Sanborn, NY Funeral Services will be held Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Walmore Rd. at 2:30 With the Rev. Gerald E. Scheck officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pike and Jones Funeral Home Inc., 5893 Hoover Rd., Sanborn, NY The family will be present from 2-5 and 7-9 P.M.
