    • Pearl Jean Ward was born on October 24, 1925 in the Town of Wheatfield, NY, the daughter of the late Grover and Clara (Ferchen) Ziehm. Pearl was united in marriage to Kenneth J. Ward and he preceded her on May 17, 1992. Pearl was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda, and enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. Pearl was called to her heavenly home on December 13, 2016 while at the Elderwood at Wheatfield facility, at the age of 91. Survivors include three children, Schalley (Nelson) Rambath, Terry (Diane) Ward and Tammy Ambrosia; a brother, Morris Ward; sister, Yvonne Bricca; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also predeceased by a brother, Chester Ziehm; and sister, Doris Ziehm. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Thursday from 1-3 PM. Services will be conducted by Pastor Michael A. Keicher, on Thursday at 3:00 PM following visitation. A graveside service will take place in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield, on Friday.
